The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Resina throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Resina is looking to clinch but Dogood is avoiding it.
Dogood pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Resina looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Resina looks for a takedown but Dogood sprawls well.
Resina shoots for a double leg takedown but Dogood sprawls well. He's pushed Resina's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Resina has a takedown stuffed.
Silence Dogood has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonas Resina.
Dogood throws a body kick that misses.

Dogood tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Jonas Resina seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Resina tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dogood sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Resina somewhat.

Dogood lands a big head kick that sends Resina tumbling to the mat! Dogood takes a step backwards and waves Resina back to his feet - he wants the finish!
