Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Abensur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seymore Buttz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buttz has chosen Eye Of The Tiger as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abensur throws the kick towards the body but Buttz avoids it.
Abensur tries to land a front kick but Buttz steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Abensur throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Buttz's waist but Buttz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Abensur off to one side.
A slow jab from Abensur misses its intended target.
Buttz dodges the punch combination from Abensur.
Buttz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Abensur is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dennis Abensur seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Abensur throws a nice looking combination but Buttz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Abensur throws a chopping leg kick but Buttz manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Buttz drops Abensur with a beautiful combination! Abensur stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Buttz is looking for the KO!

It looks like Dennis Abensur has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Abensur misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Abensur throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Buttz wants to get back to his feet.

Abensur wants to control the action but instead Buttz gets a body lock and reverses into Abensur's guard! Nice work!
Buttz won't allow Abensur to sweep him here.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Buttz throws a big shot that misses.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Abensur throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Abensur uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Buttz.
Buttz's corner calls for a 1-2. Buttz obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Seymore Buttz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Buttz misses with a looping right.
Abensur misses with a low kick as Buttz jumps back.
Buttz misses with a jab, cross combination.
Buttz comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Abensur is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Abensur slips a jab from Buttz.
Abensur will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Abensur uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Buttz.
Buttz might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Buttz lands a jab to the nose.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Seymore Buttz dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Dennis Abensur's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Abensur takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Buttz bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Buttz swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Buttz uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Abensur has time to react.
Buttz digs a good body shot into Abensur's ribs.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Buttz sends Abensur crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Buttz is motioning to the referee to let Abensur up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Abensur is rocked!
Buttz throws an uppercut from hell that sends Abensur clean off his feet! He's out cold! Buttz stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
