Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hyun Tsubaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eduardo Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yamamoto changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tsubaki looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Yamamoto wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tsubaki, who protects the arm well.
Tsubaki wants to control but Yamamoto postures up.
Tsubaki is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Yamamoto stops Tsubaki from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Yamamoto is thwarting Tsubaki's attempts to control the position.
Tsubaki is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
It looks like Yamamoto is going to stand back up.
Tsubaki is looking for a sweep. Yamamoto is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Tsubaki has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Yamamoto is working away from the top position though.

Yamamoto is stalling here. Tsubaki is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Yamamoto seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Tsubaki has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Yamamoto is trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Tsubaki has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Yamamoto is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Yamamoto looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Tsubaki! Submission of the night perhaps?
