The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Summer Carpenter and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawkins shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hawkins ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Godraker throws a nice looking combination but Hawkins bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hawkins slips a jab and a cross from Godraker.
Godraker is breathing heavily.
Hawkins darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Hawkins is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hawkins passes to side control.
Hawkins looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hawkins is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Godraker looks calm but he's in trouble here. Hawkins gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Godraker is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Hawkins lets go of the hold and Godraker can pop his arm back in it's socket.
