The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Maxwell.
Maxwell takes one on the button.

It looks like Gordon Maxwell has been cut.

It looks like Young Rah has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Maxwell throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rah on the side of the head.

Rah is rocked!

Gordon Maxwell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maxwell takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Rah seems to have recovered his senses.

Rah gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Rah keeps control of Maxwell as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Maxwell tries to break free but Rah pushes him back against the cage.
Maxwell is trying to break the clinch but Rah has him pressed against the cage.

Rah lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Maxwell.

Rah lands a right hand.

Rah pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Maxwell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rah was well out of range. Poor timing from Maxwell.

Rah cracks Maxwell with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Rah has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Maxwell to stand back up!

Maxwell is breathing heavily.
Rah lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
