Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between George Michael Bluth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willy Veevee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Willy Veevee acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Veevee has Bluth up against the cage in a clinch.

Veevee works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Bluth wants to sweep here but Veevee controlling him for the moment.

Veevee trying to control the position from guard on top but Bluth is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Veevee tries to free his leg and advance position but Bluth is retaining full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bluth throws a combination. Veevee tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bluth lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Veevee has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Veevee and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Veevee fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Bluth gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Veevee postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bluth is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Veevee, into his guard.
Veevee wants to hit a switch here but Bluth passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Veevee there!
Veevee looks gassed!
The referee warns Veevee that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Bluth scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Veevee?

Bluth has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Bluth with shots to the head and body - Veevee looks very uncomfortable down there.
Veevee regains half guard.

Bluth is keen to just control but Veevee is a slippery customer.
Veevee won't allow Bluth to pass to mount.
Bluth prevents Veevee from improving his position.
Veevee moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Veevee is looking to stand up but Bluth isn't so interested in that idea.
Bluth pushes down on Veevee's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Bluth is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bluth lands a nice short elbow.

Bluth trying to control the action but Veevee is working from the bottom.
Bluth is thwarting Veevee's attempts to control the position.
Veevee is refusing to be controlled, as Bluth sits in half guard.
Bluth looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Veevee with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Bluth wants to control but Veevee is keeping him busy.
Veevee is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bluth scores with a couple of nice shots.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Veevee closes the distance and clinches.
Bluth looking to stall.
Veevee wants a takedown but no success here.

Veevee pulls guard successfully.
Veevee is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bluth with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Veevee is trying to control the position but Bluth postures up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Veevee is on top in guard.

Veevee stands and steps away. Bluth gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Veevee shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Veevee was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Veevee fails to move to back control.
Bluth wants to hold on but Veevee pushes him away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bluth can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Willy Veevee dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bluth throws a jab but it's blocked by Veevee.
Veevee is breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
