Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vagner Pena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Christ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pena comes into the arena with Vagner Song blaring out of the sound system. Jesus Christ acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christ attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Pena rushes Christ and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Christ breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pena moves into the clinch.
Pena keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Christ's efforts to push away.

Christ drops down looking for an ankle pick but Pena pulls his leg out and moves away.

Pena shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Christ is trying to defend but Pena finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Despite being in the dominant position, Jesus Christ just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Christ throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pena on the side of the head.

and Pena counters with a head kick. That will keep Christ thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Pena throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Vagner Pena overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Pena had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Christ is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Pena Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Christ's back instead.
Will Pena go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pena is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Christ defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Jesus Christ comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
