The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rakennusmies swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rakennusmies avoids the head kick by Pouta.
Pouta misses with a two punch combination.
Rakennusmies swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Pouta counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Pouta.
Pouta not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Rakennusmies is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Rakennusmies has a closed guard, preventing Pouta from standing up.
Pouta stops Rakennusmies from standing up.
Rakennusmies keeping moving, preventing Pouta from controlling successfully.
Pouta slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Rakennusmies is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Pouta asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Pouta thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Rakennusmies throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Horrible takedown by Pouta or perhaps it was just good defense by Rakennusmies which made him look bad.
Pouta tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Rakennusmies lands a right hand that snaps the head of Pouta backwards.
Pouta goes for a takedown attempt but Rakennusmies pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
No luck for Pouta with that takedown attempt.
Reiska Rakennusmies has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pekka Pouta.

Rakennusmies takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Pouta walks into a jab.

Rakennusmies walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Pouta drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Rakennusmies swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Pouta's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
