Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rand James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitch Manson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for James.
James fails with an attempt to clinch.

Manson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with James, pushing him back against the cage.
James could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

James has hold of one of Manson's legs. Manson is fighting the takedown attempt but James gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Manson kicks James off and gets to his feet.

James shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Manson napping and manages to drive through into side control!

James is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Manson has escaped the position, nice work there.

James is trying to get an arm triangle but Manson is defending well.
Manson manages to work his way to half guard, despite James's best efforts.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Manson is concentrating on defense, preventing James from advancing position.

Manson has one foot on James's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Nice uppercut there from Manson.
James is breathing heavily.
Manson lands with a big left! James is wobbled badly! Manson comes in with a flurry of punches and drops James to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
