Almeida cracks Whipple with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Whipple on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Almeida throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Whipple stumbling backwards into the cage! Whipple bounces back off the cage towards Almeida, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Almeida lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Almeida celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
