Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Demian Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Leston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Demian Maia has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Demian Maia seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab by Leston.
It looks like Demian Maia has been cut.
Tim Leston seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maia closes the distance and clinches.
Leston is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Maia tries to pull guard but Leston won't allow it.
Leston has had enough of the clinch but Maia keeps him there for the moment.
Maia is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Leston pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Leston working hard to break the clinch.
Maia has Leston pressed against the cage, preventing Leston from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Maia pulls guard effortlessly.

Leston wants to get up but he can't break Maia's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Maia has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Leston can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Leston got a little sloppy there for a moment and Maia has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Leston has managed to get both his arms back between Maia's legs - danger averted.
Maia wants to sweep here but Leston controlling him for the moment.

Leston wants to stand but Maia is controlling his posture from full guard.

Leston wanted to stand there but Maia had control of the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Maia bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Leston's guard.
Maia drops back looking for a leg! Leston is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Leston manages to kick Maia off! Maia jumps back into Leston's guard.
Maia thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Leston is looking to stand up but Maia isn't so interested in that idea.

Maia is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Leston wants to stand up but Maia is controlling him.
Maia thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Leston scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Leston circles away from the clinch attempt.
Leston ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Leston throws a series of strikes that have Maia backpedaling.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Maia slips a jab and a cross from Leston.
Leston scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Leston lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Maia is rocked!

Leston lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
