Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dino Clavette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Madden Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clavette comes to the cage accompanied by Heaven Ablaze. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Madden Rush!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Jonathan Paton and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rush showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Clavette.
Rush misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Clavette swinging wilding here.
Rush throws a head kick but Clavette moves out of range.
Clavette staying out of range there.
Rush throws a low kick but Clavette avoids it.
Rush swats away the attempt to clinch by Clavette.
Clavette loads up on a big right hand but Rush slips the punch.
A nice inside leg kick there by Clavette. That's going to slow Rush down.
Clavette looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Rush fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Clavette takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Rush shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rush is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Clavette!

Clavette throws a big right hand that misses.
Rush looking to control.
Clavette throws and elbow that misses. Rush uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Clavette's guard. Nice move by Rush!

Rush drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Clavette manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rush has Clavette in his guard.
Clavette wants to control from the top but Rush keeps moving.

Rush has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Clavette is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Rush.

Clavette decides to take the fight back to the feet.

A bone on bone clash there as Rush blocks the leg kick.
Clavette scores with a crisp jab that stopped Rush in his tracks.
Clavette takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Clavette uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rush.
Clavette swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Rush counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Clavette is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rush's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Clavette wants to stand but Rush is controlling the position.

Rush stands and throws Clavette's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Clavette is pushing Rush's head away, looking to escape. Rush manages to hold on to the position though.

Rush goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Clavette has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Rush but great work by Clavette.

Clavette is looking to control Rush's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Clavette avoid being mounted?
Rush is looking to take a break and control but Clavette is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are battling for position here. Clavette manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Rush postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Clavette is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Clavette pulls Rush in close to prevent any damage.
Rush trying to control the position from guard on top but Clavette is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Clavette is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Rush wants to pass the guard but Clavette is keeping the position.

Rush prevents Clavette from getting back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Clavette lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Rush misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Rush counters with a shoot takedown. Clavette fights it but they end up in guard.
Rush slips nicely into half guard.
Rush is breathing heavily.
Rush is keen to just control but Clavette is a slippery customer.

Rush wants to work for an arm triangle but Clavette is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Rush is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Clavette doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rush.
Clavette is trying to maintain the position but Rush is very close to passing his half guard.

Madden Rush showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

A combination from Clavette does no damage.
Clavette is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rush.
Rush lands a two punch combo.
Clavette tries to score with a low kick but Rush moves his leg out of the way.
Clavette misses with an uppercut. Rush saw that one coming.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rush.
Rush takes one to the side of the head.
Clavette throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Rush throws a lazy right hand but Clavette sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Clavette misses with a hook.
A decent looking cross lands there for Clavette.
Rush darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Rush.
Clavette smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Clavette lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Clavette digs a good body shot into Rush's ribs.
Clavette takes one to the side of the head.
Rush pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Clavette darts in and clinches Rush up against the cage.
Clavette takes a shot to the head.
Rush fails to pull guard.
Clavette wants to break free but Rush has control.
Rush gets underhooks to prevent Clavette's takedown attempt.

Rush's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Clavette looks to throw the jab but Rush is out of range.
Rush stalks Clavette and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Clavette's face. Clavette staggers backwards, shaken.
Rush lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rush.
Rush takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Rush is looking to score with low kicks.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Rush, as that shot connected.
Nice sprawl there from Clavette as Rush shoots in.
Dino Clavette has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Madden Rush.

Clavette uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rush.
Rush takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Clavette tries to clinch up but Rush circles away and keeps his distance.
Rush moves out of range as Clavette strikes.

Clavette clinches up with Rush and pushes him back against the cage.
Clavette digs a right hand into Rush's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Rush's gas tank.

Clavette lands with a short head shot on the inside.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Clavette has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Clavette lands a nice shot to the body.
Clavette presses Rush against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

and Rush counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Clavette!

Rush is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Clavette has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Clavette!
Dino Clavette has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Madden Rush is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Clavette accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Rush escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Clavette gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Rush avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Clavette drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rush dives on top into guard.
