Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lolly Pop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Single Ladies (Put a ring on it). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pop gets a takedown into half guard.
Pop wants to free his trapped foot but Jackson is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Pop throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Pop lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Pop thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jackson's head.
Pop working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Jackson's thigh. Jackson counters though and makes it back to full guard.

Pop loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Jackson has an active guard here but Pop has managed to pass into half guard.
Jackson moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Pop with a flurry of punches that miss.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Pop with a flurry of punches that miss.
Pop is in close to Jackson's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Pop throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jackson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Pop chips away with some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jackson is looking for a triangle but Pop pushes his legs off easily.

Jackson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Pop is aware though and is defending well.

Pop makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Jackson can't keep his opponent in guard - Pop advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Pop throws a strike but Jackson avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pop lands a strong strike to the head of Jackson. That's dazed him! Pop looking to finish here. Jackson is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Pop lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
