Maynard has chosen thunderstruck as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maynard tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Chronic swivels and escapes.
No luck for Maynard with that takedown attempt.
Chronic avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nice takedown defense from Chronic. No joy for Maynard on that attempt.
Dustin Chronic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brad Maynard.
Chronic defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Maynard.
Maynard shoots in for a takedown but Chronic shows good takedown defense.
Chronic fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Maynard, pushing him back against the cage.
Chronic tightens his grip and picks Maynard up, before dumping him to the ground. Maynard manages to land in guard.

Maynard striking off his back but it's not causing Chronic any problems.

Chronic in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Chronic wants to lay and pray for a moment but Maynard keeps working.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chronic crunches a massive hammerfist down on Maynard - he's out! Chronic Holds back on further strikes and jumps to his feet to celebrate with the crowd!
