The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens swinging wilding here.
Stevens lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but The Snake circles away quickly and effectively.

The Snake darts in and clinches Stevens up against the cage.
Stevens working hard to break the clinch.
The Snake keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Stevens's efforts to push away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The Snake showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Stevens.
The Snake really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The Snake tries to close the distance and clinch but Stevens swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Stevens throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

The Snake shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stevens as he jumps to the side.

The Snake is trying hard to land a takedown here. Stevens sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
The Snake throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stevens's waist but Stevens gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing The Snake off to one side.

Miguel The Snake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Snake is breathing heavily.
Stevens tries to bum rush The Snake with a series of wild strikes but The Snake uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The Snake tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stevens swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Stevens misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Stevens moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Stevens lunges at The Snake with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by The Snake's hand.

Stevens is looking to slow The Snake down with leg kicks.
Oh The Snake is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stevens circles away from the clinch attempt.
The Snake seems to have got his legs back now.
Stevens lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - The Snake can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Stevens and The Snake drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Stevens.
