The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jefferson tries to clinch there but Williams circles away.
Jefferson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Williams as he avoids it easily.
A right-left combo lands from Williams.

It looks like Abe Jefferson has been cut.
Williams keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jefferson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ray Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Williams connects with a right hand. Jefferson shakes it off.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jefferson has a takedown stuffed.

That has opened up Abe Jefferson's cut even more.
Williams lands a body shot.

Williams drops Jefferson with a beautiful combination! Jefferson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Williams is looking for the KO!

Williams lands a big uppercut and Jefferson crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Jefferson looks OK. Williams waves Jefferson back to his feet!

Jefferson is rocked!

The cut above Abe Jefferson's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Williams cracks Jefferson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Williams has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Jefferson to stand back up!
Jefferson is still on wobbly legs! Can Williams finish him?

Jefferson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Jefferson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Jefferson seems to have recovered his senses.
Williams scores with a jab.

Abe Jefferson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Williams lands a big right hand that sends Jefferson crashing to the mat! Williams stays standing though and waves Jefferson back to his feet!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Abe Jefferson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
