Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martial tests Guida's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like Anderson Guida has been cut.
Martial has Guida up against the cage in a clinch.
Martial's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Martial uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Guida has time to react.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Guida doesn't manage to clinch there - Martial circles away.
Guida scores a takedown into full mount!
Guida tries to control but Martial wriggling away.
Guida won't let Martial get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Guida looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Martial is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Guida is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Martial can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Guida throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

Guida can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Martial is looking to escape.
Martial blocking the ground and pound.
Martial is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Guida has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Guida thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Guida throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Martial has his hands clasped together but Guida breaks the hold and Martial is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Guida!
