The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jennings chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Jennings dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Merker Junior. That did some damage!
A nice inside leg kick there by Jennings. That's going to slow Merker Junior down.
Dewayne Jennings seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jennings shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Jennings fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Merker Junior looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Jennings cracks Merker Junior with a good jab.
Jennings bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Merker Junior's head.
Jennings connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Merker Junior's hands.
Jennings fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Merker Junior on the side of the head.
Merker Junior on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Jennings is looking to clinch.
Merker Junior takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Jennings swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jennings digs a good body shot into Merker Junior's ribs.
Jennings lands a left and a right that send Merker Junior crashing to the mat, dazed. Jennings thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Merker Junior is rocked!

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Jennings has cracked Merker Junior with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Jennings lands another huge swinging hook and Merker Junior tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Merker Junior, before Jennings can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Dewayne Jennings!
