Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hong Xueijin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Hass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xueijin kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is AK-47 - 出发. Hass has chosen Boats N Hoes as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Hong Xueijin could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jack Hass's chin.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hass shoots in for a takedown but Xueijin shows good takedown defense.

Hass fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hong Xueijin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Hass.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Hass fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Xueijin avoids it really well and circles away.

Hass swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Xueijin counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

It looks like Jack Hass has been cut.

and Hass counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Xueijin's guard now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hass trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Hass looking to sit in guard and control but Xueijin gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Hass escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Xueijin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hass is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Xueijin is aware though and is defending well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hass has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Xueijin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Hass has his foot on Xueijin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Xueijin works his way back into a safe position though.
Hass is trying to keep Xueijin in close.
Xueijin has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hass is proving hard to escape from.

Xueijin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hass on the ground.
Hass wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Hass had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Xueijin defends it easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Xueijin wants to get up but he can't break Hass's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Hass looking to hit a scissor sweep but Xueijin is one step ahead there.

That was a close second round but I would say that Hong Xueijin will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Jack Hass's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Xueijin misses with a jab, cross combination.
Xueijin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Xueijin defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Hass.
Xueijin is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Hass tries to control but Xueijin wriggling away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Xueijin is trying to stand.
Hong Xueijin is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Hass throwing strikes here but Xueijin is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Hass thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Hass swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Xueijin is now in Hass's guard. A big mistake from Hass there, giving up the dominant position!

Jack Hass has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hass shoots in looking for a takedown. Xueijin tries to sprawl out of it but Hass keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Xueijin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hong Xueijin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Hass.
A right-left combo lands from Xueijin.

I would just about give that final round to Jack Hass.
I think Xueijin has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
