Michaels comes to the cage accompanied by Sexy Boy. Martinez is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Youth Of The Nation. Shawn Michaels has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Oscar Martinez!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Steve Montenegro and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michaels throws a jab but it's blocked by Martinez.
Martinez throws a jab when Michaels was well out of range.
Michaels throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Martinez.

Michaels lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Michaels misses with a straight left.
Michaels misses with a takedown attempt - Martinez sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The fighters circling - Martinez throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Shawn Michaels will probably get the nod.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Michaels, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
