Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rick Cartside (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zedicus Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen Heroes as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Zedicus Jones!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartside drops his hands momentarily and Jones takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Jones scoring well with a low kick there.
Jones stuffs the takedown attempt from Cartside. Cartside gets slowly back to his feet.
Cartside avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Cartside shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jones misses with the combination.
Jones slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Jones throws a good cross that connects.
Jones misses with a looping left.
Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A combination from Jones does no damage.
Cartside shoots in for a double leg but Jones sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rick Cartside. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Cartside gets a takedown into half guard.
Jones desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Cartside wants to take a breather but Jones is having none of it.
Jones is trying to stand.

Jones tries to roll over but Cartside keeps him under control.
Jones makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jones.
Jones keeping moving, preventing Cartside from controlling successfully.
Jones has a closed guard, preventing Cartside from standing up.
Cartside controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Cartside decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jones, up you get!

Cartside fails with a takedown attempt.
Cartside throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cartside off to one side.

Oooh a lovely combination from Jones sends Cartside down but not out. Jones dives into side control looking to finish.

Cartside is rocked!

Jones scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Cartside is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Jones can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
