PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wandy Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Sachel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walker kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Live To Win. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wandy Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jason Sachel!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker wants to clinch.
Walker tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sachel paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Walker has taken the fight to the clinch.

Walker breaks the clinch.
Walker wants to clinch up but Sachel keeps it at a distance.
Sachel keeps the fight on the outside.

Walker has taken the fight to the clinch.
Walker tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Sachel avoids it.

Walker is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Sachel can't fight it off and eventually Walker manages to take the fight to the floor. Sachel looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Walker would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Walker wants to stand and escape but instead Sachel has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Sachel drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sachel jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Still in half guard, Sachel seems content to control.

Sachel is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Walker doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sachel.

Walker kicks Sachel off and gets back to his feet.

Walker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sachel misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Walker fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sachel, pushing him back against the cage.

Sachel takes an elbow to the forehead.

Walker stuffs the takedown attempt from Sachel. Sachel gets slowly back to his feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Walker tries to clinch but Sachel moves out of range.
Walker doesn't manage to clinch there - Sachel circles away.
Wandy Walker is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Sachel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Walker as he avoids it easily.
Sachel has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

and Sachel counters by moving into the clinch.
Walker unloads a knee to the mid-section. Sachel lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Walker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Walker scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Wandy Walker showed his dominance in that final round.
