The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Pennianenko misses with a few strikes there.
Carr tries to clinch but St Pennianenko moves out of range.
St Pennianenko rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Carr moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Carr changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. St Pennianenko tries to avoid it but Carr manages to keep hold of a leg and drag St Pennianenko to the ground. St Pennianenko escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Carr. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from St Pennianenko in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
