Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terry Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirk Zeldenthuis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shaw comes to the cage accompanied by Over At The Frankenstein Place. Terry Shaw has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dirk Zeldenthuis!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw misses with a takedown attempt - Zeldenthuis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Shaw fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Shaw shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Zeldenthuis but Zeldenthuis pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Terry Shaw. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Zeldenthuis shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Zeldenthuis showed some decent athleticism there.
Zeldenthuis tries to pass to full mount but Shaw defends it.

Shaw has his foot on Zeldenthuis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Zeldenthuis works his way back into a safe position though.
Shaw will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Shaw has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Zeldenthuis is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Shaw.
You can see the frustration on Shaw's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Shaw is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Shaw wants to improve his position but Zeldenthuis is controlling well.
Well, if Zeldenthuis is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Zeldenthuis seems to be working for a kimura but Shaw defends the submission attempt.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Zeldenthuis is trying for a kimura here. Shaw looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Zeldenthuis wins by kimura!
