Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Karl Marx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arcturus Balfour (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Paulo Santos and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marx throws a series of punches but Balfour avoids them all with ease.
Balfour misses with an uppercut. Marx saw that one coming.
Balfour digs a good hook to Marx's body.
Marx swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Marx misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Balfour.
Marx tries to move into range but Balfour moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Balfour throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Marx tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Balfour paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Balfour misses with a straight left.
Balfour lands a head shot.
Nice shot lands for Balfour.
Balfour throws a jab when Marx was well out of range.
Balfour slips a jab and a cross from Marx.
Balfour uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Marx has time to react.

Marx tries to clinch but Balfour is having none of it.

Balfour throws a looping overhand right but Marx ducks down to avoid it.
Marx misses with a series of wild punches.
Karl Marx seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marx moves in looking to clinch but Balfour pushes him off.
Marx swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Balfour keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Marx moves away from the strike by Balfour.
Balfour keeps the fight on the outside.
Some wild striking there from Marx.
Balfour lands a lovely overhand right.
Balfour throws a hook but Marx avoids it easily.
Balfour misses with a two punch combination.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Marx looks to land a left hand but Balfour moved out of range nicely.

Balfour throws a good cross that connects.
Marx connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Marx tries to move into range but Balfour moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Marx takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Marx ducks right into an uppercut from Balfour.
Oh Marx is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Marx fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Balfour manages to avoid it.
Balfour throws out a loose jab but Marx uses good head movement to avoid it.
Balfour connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Marx to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Balfour!
