Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jairo Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Hui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza throws a solid leg kick but Hui takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Souza.
Souza fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Hui is out of range.
Souza throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Souza leaves Hui with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Souza decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Souza is stalling here. Hui is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Souza seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Hui has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Souza is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Hui is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Hui thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Souza's head.

Hui has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Souza defend it? Hui steps over the head and cranks it - Souza is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Hui!
