The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filipopic wants to land a leg kick but Mir is out of range.

Filipopic tries to keep at a distance but Mir has taken the fight into the clinch.

Filipopic escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mir is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mir wants to clinch.
Mir has a takedown stuffed.
Mir wants to clinch.
Mir fails with a takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Filipopic moves away from the strike by Mir.
Mir throws a body punch but Filipopic moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mir shoots in looking for a takedown. Filipopic tries to sprawl out of it but Mir keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Filipopic manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Mir. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mir is looking to clinch.
Mir shoots in but no luck this time.
Mir thows a body shot but no joy.
Filipopic fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Mir is out of range.
Mir tries to close the distance and clinch up but Filipopic swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mir is looking to clinch.
Filipopic lands a head kick!
Mir tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Miko Filipopic is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mir is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Filipopic lands with a thumping leg kick.
Mir stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Filipopic.
Filipopic feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mir's calf.
Filipopic throws a leg kick which misses Mir's front leg but catches the back leg as Mir tries to avoid it.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Mir. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Filipopic misses with a body kick.
Mir avoids the head kick by Filipopic.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mir tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Filipopic lands a big uppercut and Mir crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Mir looks OK. Filipopic waves Mir back to his feet!

It looks like Jake Mir has been cut.
Filipopic fakes the body blow, causing Mir to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Mir goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
