Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Mossey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Norton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Norton has chosen Countdown to Extinction by Megadeth as his entrance music. Brian Norton has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Mossey !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brian Norton!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norton forces Mossey back against the cage and clinches.
Mossey is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Mossey blocks an uppercut.
Norton prevents a takedown attempt there.
Norton gets underhooks to prevent Mossey 's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Mossey . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Norton drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mossey has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Norton avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Norton's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Norton gets underhooks to prevent Mossey 's takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Norton changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mossey fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Mossey slips a jab and a cross from Norton.
Mossey throws out a loose jab but Norton uses good head movement to avoid it.
Norton lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Mossey throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Norton's waist but Norton gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mossey off to one side.
Mossey is breathing heavily.
Norton lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Norton shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Norton wants to stand but Mossey has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Norton is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Norton controlling the position easily from mount.
Mossey tries to reverse the position but Norton maintains control.
Norton wants to stand but Mossey is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Norton gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Norton lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Mossey checks the leg kick.
Nice uppercut lands for Norton. That snapped Mossey 's head back.
Norton throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mossey shoots for a takedown but Norton saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
A solid leg kick lands there for Norton.
Mossey slips under a jab from Norton.
Norton misses with a head kick.
Mossey gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Norton counters with a head kick. That will keep Mossey thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Mossey turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Norton tries to improve position but can't.
Mossey lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Norton is looking for a sweep.
Mossey slows the pace down.
Norton taking punishment in the form of punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mossey trying to control the position but Norton is working away.
Mossey is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Norton is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Norton throws a right and a left that Mossey avoids nicely.
Mossey changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Norton looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Mossey wants to lay and pray for a moment but Norton keeps working.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mossey sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Norton is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Norton is looking for a sweep.
Norton wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brian Norton dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Mossey shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Norton defends it nicely.
Nice sprawl there from Norton as Mossey shoots in.
Mossey has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Mossey is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Norton throws a one two combo.
Mossey is rocked!
The fighters circle momentarily. Norton darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Oh Mossey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Norton lands with a right that hurts Mossey . Mossey looks to clinch but Norton throws a short knee that drops Mossey . This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Brian Norton!
