The crowd seem to be enjoying Necktie's choice of entrance music: Ol' Dirty Bastard - Shimmy Shimmy Ya. Mauno Necktie is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Zedong looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Necktie misses with a takedown attempt - Zedong sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Necktie shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Zedong manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Zedong wants to hit a switch here but Necktie passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Zedong there!

Necktie takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Zedong is bucking up trying to escape but Necktie cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

It looks like Mao Zedong has been cut.

Mao Zedong's cut is getting worse.

Necktie working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Zedong looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Necktie! Submission of the night perhaps?
