PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Takinamu NagaYoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Ricardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jose Ricardo told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takinamu NagaYoshi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jose Ricardo!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Shimada and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
NagaYoshi blocks a head kick by Ricardo.

NagaYoshi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ricardo is nestled in close to NagaYoshi, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Takinamu NagaYoshi showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for NagaYoshi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
