Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Abbot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dudley Blake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Abbot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dudley Blake!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blake misses with a wild body shot.
Blake drops his hands momentarily and Abbot takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Blake misses with a wild body shot.
Blake tries to close the distance and clinch up but Abbot swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Blake misses with a looping left.
Blake throws a shot to the body.
Abbot tries to bum rush Blake with a series of wild strikes but Blake uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Abbot misses with a few strikes there.
Abbot lands a jab.

Blake misses with a looping left.
Dudley Blake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Abbot avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Blake throws a lazy right hand but Abbot sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Blake cracks Abbot with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

A punch lands to the side of Abbot 's head but he takes it in his stride.

and Abbot connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

and Abbot counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Blake scores with a crisp jab that stopped Abbot in his tracks.
Blake is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Abbot had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

The crowd cheers as Abbot lands an impressive looking overhand right. Blake doesn't seem phased though.

Blake thows a body shot but no joy.

Abbot lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Blake throws a jab but it's blocked by Abbot.
Abbot misses with a jab, cross combination.
Abbot avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Abbot fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Abbot takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Abbot keeps the fight on the outside.

Blake uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Abbot has time to react.

That was a close second round but I would say that Frank Abbot will probably get the nod.

and Abbot counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

and Blake counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Abbot will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Dudley Blake comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Blake has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
