Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doadi Rafi Meldir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Algenir Mira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meldir's entrance music is Khala Ya Khala. A fine choice. Mira has chosen Eminem - Not Afraid as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Meldir clinches.
Meldir lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Mira backwards.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Mira is just content to waste time from the top position. Meldir takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Mira postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Mira stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Meldir swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Meldir tries to clinch but Mira is having none of it.
Meldir wants to clinch up but Mira keeps it at a distance.
A slow jab from Mira misses its intended target.
Meldir is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Mira goes for a takedown attempt but Meldir pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Mira throws a strike but Meldir rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Algenir Mira will probably get the nod.

Mira misses with a takedown

and Meldir holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Mira is trying to drag Meldir to the mat but Meldir just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Meldir stops a takedown attempt from Mira.
Doadi Rafi Meldir has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Algenir Mira.
Mira wants a takedown but no success here.
Meldir lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Mira or not.
Meldir gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Meldir pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Meldir is leaning against Mira and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Meldir creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Mira's defenses.
Mira takes an elbow to the temple.

Meldir has Mira pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Meldir pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Mira tumbling to the mat - Meldir dives into Mira's guard.

Mira slips a jab and a cross from Meldir.
Doadi Rafi Meldir is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Meldir lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mira at a distance.

Doadi Rafi Meldir seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Meldir doesn't manage to clinch there - Mira circles away.
Mira dodges the punch combination from Meldir.

Mira is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Meldir's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Meldir's back!

Mira has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Meldir! Can he survive? No! He's out! Mira gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
