Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
D dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Law. That did some damage!
D throws a leg kick but Law moved away.
Law gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
D pushes down on Law's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Law tries to kick D off but D keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

D fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

D cracks Law with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

D is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Law can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Law's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

You get the feeling that Law really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
D working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Law turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips D off and cradles Law's limp body as D celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Billy D!
