Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elkerton Scrappypants (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Mushroomhead kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scrappypants ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Scrappypants missing with a left hand there. Jones was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Scrappypants misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jones avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jones fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Scrappypants avoids it really well and circles away.
Scrappypants lands a nice looking body shot.

Jones is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Scrappypants goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Jones tries to keep at a distance but Scrappypants has taken the fight into the clinch.

Scrappypants tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Jones shoots for a takedown but Scrappypants saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Elkerton Scrappypants has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Jones.

Scrappypants throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Jones stumbling backwards into the cage! Jones bounces back off the cage towards Scrappypants, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Scrappypants lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Scrappypants celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
