Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Snowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chase Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Storm's choice of entrance music: Pantera (Walk). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Snowe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chase Storm!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Hugh Johnson and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Storm on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Snowe lands a nice leg kick that just misses Storm's sensitive parts.
Storm fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Snowe manages to avoid it.
Snowe throws a big shot that misses.
Snowe throws a head kick but Storm moves out of range.
Storm blocks the body kick.
Snowe lands a nice looking kick to the body. Storm takes a step back to recover.
Chase Storm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A jab from Snowe misses.
Storm avoids a kick to the body.
Storm throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Snowe sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Storm fails with a takedown attempt.
Snowe scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Storm is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Snowe.

Snowe shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Storm manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Snowe slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Storm working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Snowe doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Snowe manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Storm wants to sweep here but Snowe controlling him for the moment.
Snowe has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Snowe decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Horrible takedown by Snowe or perhaps it was just good defense by Storm which made him look bad.
Snowe moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Storm throws a sloppy head kick and Snowe moves out of range easily.
Storm cracks Snowe with a good jab.
Snowe explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Donk. Snowe catches Storm right on the button with a cross.

Snowe throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Storm was covering up waiting for the punch and Snowe finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Storm is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Snowe content to stall in guard here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Snowe trying to control the position from guard on top but Storm is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Snowe tries to stand but Storm is controlling from the bottom.
Snowe wants to control from the top but Storm keeps moving.

Storm has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Snowe can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Snowe trying to stand up but can't free himself from Storm's guard.

Snowe avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Storm working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Snowe doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Snowe manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Storm has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Snowe doesn't defend quickly enough and Storm has managed to lock this one up! Can Snowe escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Storm on a fantastic submission victory.
