Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lucious LaFleur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grayson Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LaFleur comes into the arena with 2001 a space odyssey blaring out of the sound system. Davis has chosen All That Remains - Focus Shall Not Fail as his entrance music. Lucious LaFleur has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Grayson Davis!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaFleur connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
It looks like Grayson Davis has been cut.
Excellent takedown into side control there by LaFleur.
Davis looking for a sweep but LaFleur has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Davis sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

LaFleur is trying to control. Davis wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Davis is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but LaFleur pulls his head out easily.

LaFleur drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and LaFleur jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Davis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but LaFleur can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Davis had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. LaFleur defends it easily.
Davis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. LaFleur gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
LaFleur wants to control from the top but Davis keeps moving.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
LaFleur slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
LaFleur tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
LaFleur thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Davis tries to improve position but can't.

LaFleur is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Davis is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

LaFleur is working for a kimura but Davis is defending it quite comfortably.

LaFleur drops back looking for a leg! Davis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Davis manages to kick LaFleur off! LaFleur jumps back into Davis's guard.
LaFleur is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Davis is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Davis has escaped and now he's on top!

Davis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and Davis counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Davis is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Davis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. LaFleur doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. LaFleur manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
