Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kalava Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Barricho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunt comes to the cage accompanied by BOO YA. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Barricho.

and Hunt decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Barricho's guard.

Hunt got a little sloppy there for a moment and Barricho has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hunt has managed to get both his arms back between Barricho's legs - danger averted.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Hunt here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Miguel Barricho showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Barricho changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hunt looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Barricho shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hunt manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Barricho takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Hunt bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Barricho's guard.
Miguel Barricho has got the better of the ground game so far.

Barricho working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hunt doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hunt manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well Barricho has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
