A head kick misses from Mattica.
Thorton throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mattica on the side of the head.
Thorton buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Mattica connects with a crisp jab.
A jab from Mattica misses.
Thorton throws a front kick that sends Mattica stumbling back into the cage.
Thorton lands a jab to Mattica's midsection.
Thorton comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mattica takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Thorton throws a leg kick but Mattica checks it.
Thorton scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Thorton closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Mattica out cold! Mattica corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
