Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iron Tager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Cowell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Tager might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to MOTOR HEAD. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Iron Tager!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anderson Cowell!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Daniel Cesar and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tager shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tager showed some decent athleticism there.
Cowell regains full guard. Nicely done.

Tager thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cowell is on top in guard.

Tager is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Tager on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tager tries to get out of the position.
Cowell wants to control from the top but Tager keeps moving.

Tager working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cowell doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cowell manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Tager is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Cowell pulls his head out easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Iron Tager will probably get the nod.

Cowell with a poor takedown

and Tager counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Cowell's guard now.
Tager stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cowell swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Tager tries to free his leg and advance position but Cowell is retaining full guard.
Tager postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Cowell looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tager is one step ahead there.

Tager got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cowell has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tager has managed to get both his arms back between Cowell's legs - danger averted.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Tager counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cowell won't be happy with that.

Cowell has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tager is working away from the top position though.

Tager is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Tager blocks the strikes from Cowell.
Tager looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cowell with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Cowell wants to control but Tager is keeping busy.

Iron Tager showed his dominance in that final round.
