Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Josh Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pepper Edgar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foster ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Edgar moves away.

Edgar drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Foster keeping moving, preventing Edgar from controlling successfully.
Edgar wants to stand but Foster has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Foster wants to control but Edgar passes easily into half guard.
Edgar prevents Foster from improving his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Foster has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Edgar is trying to keep an underhook but Foster manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Foster is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Foster decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Edgar, up you get!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Edgar has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Edgar and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Edgar uses his free foot to push down on Foster's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Foster.
