Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mo Kendo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frederic Bastiat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bastiat has chosen Superstition as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Frederic Bastiat enters the ring!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kendo ducks under a wild hook from Bastiat.

Bastiat darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Kendo is trying to maintain the position but Bastiat is very close to passing his half guard.
Kendo slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Kendo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Kendo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bastiat defends it easily.

Kendo tries to clinch but Bastiat moves out of range.

Bastiat is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kendo's half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Bastiat tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kendo knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Bastiat is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Bastiat is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Kendo has his hands clasped together but Bastiat extends an breaks Kendo's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Bastiat.
