Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Che Satomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Satomi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Diaz is fending him off so far but Satomi persists. Nope, Diaz circles away and we're back to standing.
Satomi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Diaz with a poor takedown
and Satomi counters with a nice double leg into side control. Diaz won't be happy with that.
Satomi tries for a kimura but Diaz is defending well.

Diaz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Satomi swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Diaz must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Satomi takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Diaz has got his arm under Satomi's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Satomi has spun round into Diaz's guard beautifully! Well done that man!
Satomi slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Diaz is looking to regain half guard here but Satomi keeps moving and retains side control.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Diaz is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Diaz wants to stand and escape but Satomi is having none of it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Satomi throws a nice looking combination but Diaz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Satomi gets a takedown into half guard.
Satomi winds up and cracks Diaz with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Diaz has hold of Satomi's hands but Satomi slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Satomi is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Slick Diaz will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Diaz throws a series of punches but Satomi moves out of range.
Satomi closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Satomi lands in his opponent's guard.
Satomi avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Satomi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Diaz swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Satomi stands and steps away. Diaz gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Satomi misses with a takedown attempt - Diaz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Satomi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Diaz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Diaz is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Satomi's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Satomi! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Diaz has tapped! This one is allllll over!
