Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gerrard Brennan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave McCreadie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave McCreadie!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCreadie doesn't manage to clinch there - Brennan circles away.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

McCreadie closes this distance looking for a takedown but Brennan circles away.
McCreadie slips a straight right by Brennan.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McCreadie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Brennan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten McCreadie somewhat.

McCreadie scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

McCreadie is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Brennan defends it well.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
McCreadie closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

McCreadie drops back, looking for a kneebar! Brennan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Brennan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Brennan!
McCreadie is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Brennan off and has taken his back!

and Brennan counters with a three punch combo that has McCreadie backing up. McCreadie nods at Brennan to acknowledge the strikes.

and Brennan counters with a straight right hand.

and McCreadie takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

That's time! Brennan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

and Brennan counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps McCreadie thinking.

and Brennan counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in McCreadie's guard now.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Brennan gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

McCreadie doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Brennan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Brennan counters with a nice uppercut.

McCreadie has his takedown stuffed
enabling Brennan to counter with a crisp jab.

Brennan shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches McCreadie napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brennan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. McCreadie knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Brennan stands up and beckons McCreadie to his feet.
