The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duplee tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kirkland sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Duplee somewhat.
Duplee looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Kirkland keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Duplee shoots in and bounces Kirkland off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
