Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ratrick Obeh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Obeh comes to the cage accompanied by Quake Arena. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 2, fighting out of London, Ratrick Obeh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeremy Henderson!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obeh punishes Henderson's body with a nice straight punch.
No joy there for Henderson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Henderson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Henderson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Obeh wants to control but Henderson is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are battling for position here. Obeh manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Obeh is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Obeh bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Henderson's guard.

Henderson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Obeh thows a big elbow that misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Henderson working for a triangle but Obeh defends it easily.
Henderson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Obeh with a flurry of punches that miss.
Obeh postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Henderson doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Obeh avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Obeh is looking to work some ground and pound but Henderson has wrist control.
Obeh stays in close to Henderson's body and controls the position.
Obeh has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Obeh wants to control from the top but Henderson keeps moving.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Obeh accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Obeh trying to control but Henderson is working from the bottom.

Henderson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Henderson has his foot on Obeh's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Obeh works his way back into a safe position though.
Henderson looks gassed!
Obeh thows a big elbow that misses.
Henderson keeping moving, preventing Obeh from controlling successfully.
Obeh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Henderson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Obeh knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Henderson on the ground.
Obeh postures up and lands a big shot to Henderson's brow.
Henderson trying to keep a closed guard but Obeh is proving a slippery customer.
Obeh throwing strikes but missing.
Obeh is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Obeh trying to control the position from guard on top but Henderson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Obeh drives through and clinches with Henderson against the cage.
A right handed body shot lands from Obeh.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Obeh obliges.
Obeh landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Henderson being controlled against the cage.
Obeh looking to throw knees to the head but Henderson is blocking nicely.

Obeh breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Henderson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Henderson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Obeh.
Obeh cracks Henderson with a right hand to the side of the head.
Jeremy Henderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Henderson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Obeh tries to avoid it but Henderson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Obeh to the ground. Obeh escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Henderson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Henderson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Henderson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Henderson sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Henderson takes one to the chin there.

Obeh has taken the fight to the clinch.
Obeh is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Obeh lands a knee to the head.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Henderson tries to break free but Obeh pushes him back against the cage.
Henderson is trying to force a seperation but Obeh has the dominant position.
Henderson wants a takedown.
Ratrick Obeh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeremy Henderson.
Obeh stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
A nice right hand lands inside from Obeh.
Obeh lands a nice knee to the body.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
A right hook to the body lands for Obeh.
Obeh lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Obeh is pushing Henderson up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Obeh escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Obeh throws a head kick that Henderson semi-blocks.
Ratrick Obeh is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Obeh scores with a push kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Obeh.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ratrick Obeh dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Obeh feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Henderson's calf.
Obeh pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Henderson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A slapping body kick lands there for Obeh.
Ratrick Obeh is winning the standup battle so far.
Obeh throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Henderson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Obeh connects with a good right hand that stumbles Henderson. Henderson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Obeh tries to close the distance and clinch but Henderson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A slapping body kick lands there for Obeh.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Obeh connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.


Henderson is rocked!

Obeh moves into the clinch.
Henderson is still on wobbly legs! Can Obeh finish him?
Obeh connects with a knee to the head.
Obeh landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Henderson manages to break the clinch.
Nice body kick from Obeh.

Obeh clinches.
Obeh landing knees to the head.
Obeh lands a damaging elbow.
Henderson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Obeh smiles and moves away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Obeh moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Henderson takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Obeh feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Henderson's calf.
Henderson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Obeh lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Henderson falls backwards - clearly groggy! Obeh dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ratrick Obeh!
