Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between scot jenkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colin robin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, scot jenkin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Colin robin!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
robin misses the shot to the body.
robin looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
jenkin tries to clinch up but robin circles away and keeps his distance.
jenkin leaves robin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from robin.
jenkin tries for a takedown but robin circles away easily

and robin counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for jenkin!
robin avoids the attempt from jenkin to control.
jenkin regains half guard.
jenkin moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
jenkin has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
jenkin trying to control the position.

jenkin is looking for a triangle but robin pushes his legs off easily.

jenkin wriggles free and stands up.
robin keeps the fight on the outside.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

jenkin clinches up against the cage.
jenkin tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. robin just stands there and leans against the cage.
jenkin stalls.
robin keeps control of jenkin as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

robin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
jenkin fails with the takedown

and robin counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by robin.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for scot jenkin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
jenkin has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
jenkin is trying to work for a single leg takedown but robin pulls him back up using the underhooks.
robin letting jenkin take a breather here.

jenkin has dropped down and is working for a takedown. robin is trying to keep an underhook but jenkin manages to get the takedown into half guard.

jenkin wants to free his trapped foot but robin is holding on for dear life with his legs.

robin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
robin moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

jenkin drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and robin dives on top into guard.
jenkin can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as robin controls the pace.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
robin would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

robin trying to control but jenkin is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Colin robin will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



jenkin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
robin manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
jenkin wants to take a breather but robin is having none of it.
jenkin perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
robin won't allow jenkin to pass to mount.
robin is trying to get back to full guard.
robin is looking to control jenkin's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can robin avoid being mounted?
robin is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but jenkin is staying active.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

jenkin missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
robin trying to control from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
jenkin tries to clinch up

and robin counters with a nice double leg into side control. jenkin won't be happy with that.
jenkin manages to work his way to half guard, despite robin's best efforts.
jenkin wants to get back to full guard.
jenkin is working hard here to advance position.
jenkin is trying to stand.

jenkin is not content to let robin control the position.
jenkin trying to hold on to robin's head to control him but robin postures up.
jenkin is looking to improve his position.
Still in half guard, robin seems content to control.
jenkin avoiding damage under a succession of punches from robin.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
robin jabs jenkin right on the nose. jenkin blinks but takes it well.

robin closes the distance looking to clinch

and jenkin counters with a nice double leg into guard.
jenkin slips nicely into half guard.
robin is refusing to be controlled, as jenkin sits in half guard.

robin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but jenkin pulls his head out easily.
jenkin seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
robin wants to improve his position but jenkin is controlling well.
jenkin working robin over with strikes.
robin tries to get to full guard but jenkin has control of the leg.
jenkin is stalling here. robin is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! jenkin seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and robin has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
jenkin pushes robin away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, robin gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
No luck for jenkin with that takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that scot jenkin will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


robin falls off balance throwing a combination

and jenkin counters with a takedown into side control.
robin being controlled for a moment.
jenkin is looking to take a break and control but robin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
jenkin lands an elbow.

jenkin creates some space and throws a big elbow, but robin sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
jenkin trying to control the action but robin is working from the bottom.
robin tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
jenkin lands a nice shot to the head.

jenkin working for a submission but robin is keeping him at bay.
robin working to try and regain half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
jenkin misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
robin tries to control jenkin's body but jenkin pushes him off. robin squirms to his side and now jenkin has his back!
jenkin lands an elbow to the side of the head.
jenkin not allowing robin to control his hands.
robin looking very determined here, making life difficult for jenkin.

robin turns into jenkin and is now in his guard.
robin wants to control from the top but jenkin keeps moving.
jenkin trying to keep a closed guard but robin is proving a slippery customer.

jenkin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but robin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
jenkin trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
jenkin shoots in for a takedown but robin shows good takedown defense.
jenkin darts in trying to clinch

and robin counters with a nice double leg into side control. jenkin won't be happy with that.
robin is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down jenkin's shoulder. That is not cool.

robin stands up.
robin lands a with a good body shot.

robin drives through with a takedown into guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Colin robin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well robin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3 rounds of action, we go to the scorecards for a decision.
