Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Victor Payne!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, David Schapiro and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Payne moves out of range of the strikes.
Payne throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Payne throws the left hand but Parish avoids the punch easily.
Parish digs a good body shot into Payne's ribs.
Parish steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Payne.

Parish gets the takedown into side control.
Parish creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Payne sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Parish working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Payne tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Parish wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Parish tries to advance to mount but Payne denies him.
Parish creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Parish goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Payne has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Parish but great work by Payne.
Parish gets back to half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Payne is pressing down on Parish's thigh, looking to free his foot. Parish is holding on for now.

Parish manages to get to full guard.
Parish keeping full guard, as Payne tries to pass.
Parish throws a nice elbow from the bottom.
Parish manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Payne manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are battling for position here. Payne manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Payne isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Parish stacks Payne on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Parish!

Victor Payne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Payne's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Payne duly obliges.

Parish avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Parish shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Payne sprawls well. Payne wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Parish gets slowly back to his feet.
Payne feints and then cracks Parish's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Parish down.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Parish takes one to the side of the head.
Parish takes a swing at Payne's ribcage but misses.
Parish ducks under a wild hook from Payne.

Payne ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Parish moves away.
Some wild striking there from Payne.
Payne takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Payne throws a head kick but Parish moves out of range.
Parish just misses with a punch to the body.
Payne keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Parish.
Parish bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Payne throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Payne wants to clinch.
Parish fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Parish connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.


The cut above Victor Payne's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Parish connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.


Victor Payne's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Payne closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Payne misses the body punch
and Parish counters with a right hand to the body.
Parish dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Parish throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Payne stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Parish ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Parish looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Payne!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
BOOM! Parish connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Victor Payne's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
