Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Silver Surfer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocco Urso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Urso has chosen Big Ten Inch as his entrance music. Silver Surfer had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Eddie Farnsworth and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Urso shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Surfer but Surfer pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Surfer lands a left and a right that send Urso crashing to the mat, dazed. Surfer thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Urso is rocked!
It looks like Rocco Urso has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Surfer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Urso.

Urso is looking to clinch but Surfer is avoiding it.

Urso closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Urso lands in his opponent's guard.

Surfer wants to stand but Urso is controlling the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Urso working over Surfer with some ground and pound. Surfer looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

That has opened up Rocco Urso's cut even more.
Surfer connects with a stiff jab that staggers Urso - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
