Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rah Rah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Schaffner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schaffner has chosen Lost Highway as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard Schaffner!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rah throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Schaffner tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rah was well out of range. Poor timing from Schaffner.
Schaffner throws a chopping leg kick but Rah manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Rah throws a head kick but Schaffner moves out of range.
Schaffner lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Schaffner keeps the fight on the outside.

Rah fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Schaffner checks it well.
Rah moves out of range of the strikes.
A solid leg kick lands there for Rah.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Schaffner crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Rah - the referee stops the clock and Schaffner gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Rah. Schaffner manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
