The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cross is defended easily by Dijieo.
Cross takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Dijieo scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cross doesn't seem bothered though.
Dijieo misses with a few strikes there.
Dijieo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dijieo wants it to stay on the feet.
Dijieo swinging wilding here.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Cross.
Petru Dijieo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Janus Cross.
Dijieo connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

It looks like Janus Cross has been cut.
Cross takes one to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dijieo drops Cross with a beautiful combination! Cross stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Dijieo is looking for the KO!

Cross is rocked!
Cross is trying desperately to land a takedown but Dijieo is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Cross.
Cross looks gassed!
Dijieo ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Cross's jaw. Cross's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Dijieo does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
